What Valmis does

Valmis replaces the plastic pager. The vendor creates an order, which takes the next free number from the venue's pool, and shows a QR code. The customer scans it with their camera and is done: no app to install. On iPhone it opens an App Clip with a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. On Android it's a web page with push notifications. While they wait, customers see their number, the estimated wait and their place in the queue, with a couple of games to pass the time. When the kitchen taps Ready, the phone rings and vibrates. After pickup, the venue can ask for a Google review.
